Sampson County Government is seeking two PORT Paramedics to join their EMS team in Clinton, NC. The role involves implementing and developing a community-based PORT Paramedic program to respond to substance abuse and mental health crisis calls.
About the Role
As a PORT Paramedic, you will work independently to navigate between patients and community resources, developing and implementing care and treatment plans tailored to patient needs. You will collaborate with law enforcement and community leaders to educate and participate in outreach efforts. The position requires alternating 12-hour daytime shifts, with the expectation of occasional extra shifts on 911 ambulances.

Required:
North Carolina Paramedic Certification
Valid NC driver's license
Emergency Vehicle Driver Training
Post Overdose Response Training
ACLS, PALS, and PHTLS certifications
NIMS ICS 300 and ICS 400 certifications
