About the Role
As a (Senior) Analyst, you will develop quantitative analyses, work with the modelling team, engage with clients, and conduct research on India's electricity grid. You will also develop power system models to assess grid constraints and present findings through reports and discussions.
About You
Required:
- Relevant degree in Economics, Engineering, Power Systems, Mathematics, Computer Science or other quantitative field from a top university.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
- At least 2 to 4 years of experience in consultancy, energy, financial services, or knowledge-focused firms.
- Experience in energy-related projects or policy, particularly in the Indian context.
- Ability to interpret complex technical data and communicate insights clearly.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work in team-oriented environments.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to contribute to a growing business.
Preferred:
- Relevant Master’s degree or PhD.
- Experience in a quantitative and/or technical role, ideally in grid modelling, transmission planning, or power system analysis.
- Knowledge of and interest in energy markets.
- Familiarity with programming and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, R).
- Interest in energy markets and the role of grid infrastructure in enabling the energy transition.
