About the Role
As a (Sr.) Motor Control Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and validating advanced motor control algorithms, optimizing sensor configurations, and performing vehicle-level testing. Your daily tasks will include using engineering tools for network designs, conducting parameter calibration, and post-processing experimental data for control algorithm development. You will work closely with electro-mechanical systems to ensure smooth communication between various vehicle components.
About You
Required:
- MS degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering + 6 months experience in motor control, or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with engineering tools such as Vector PREEvision for network designs.
- Familiarity with failure analysis methodologies like FMEA and fault trees.
- Experience with standard EE lab instruments (oscilloscope, multimeters, data bus analysis tools).
- Hands-on integration testing experience with electric vehicle systems.
Preferred:
- Creativity in design and motivation to make a difference in the automotive industry.
- Ability to build and prototype hardware components.
- Strong communication skills.
