About the Role
As a 1 on 1 Aide/ Paraprofessional, you will assist in all areas of instruction including daily routines, academics, and therapy groups. You will help students with daily living skills, adapt instructional activities, and support classroom recommendations from therapists. The position requires a positive attitude and the ability to work independently while following directions from teachers.
About You
Required:
- High School graduate or equivalent, with experience in a similar position or school setting.
- Ability to assist students with special needs and daily living skills.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with children with special abilities.
- Basic knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL).
