Summary
ARSIEM Corporation is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer 3 to join their team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role involves designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, maintaining Linux operating systems, and managing data flow using NiFi.
About the Role
As a Cloud Software Engineer 3, you will develop, maintain, and enhance complex Big Data Cloud systems. Your responsibilities include backend processing, analyzing, and indexing, as well as providing expertise in Cloud Computing and the Hadoop Ecosystem. You will work both individually and as part of a team, reviewing and testing software components, resolving software issues, and contributing to system design.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- 12 years of software engineering experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge in containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or other orchestration tools.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies like Scrum.
- Experience with the Elastic stack solutioning including indexing and managing data.
- Familiarity with NiFi management.
- Ansible scripting.
