About the Role
About You
- 20 years of surface navy experience as a Naval Officer with shipboard operational experience managing afloat training.
- Qualified Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) and Tactical Action Officer (TAO).
- 5 years of experience at a major staff or training command in planning and conducting data analysis of surface ship training.
- Experience creating and presenting Flag Level briefs.
- Knowledge of the Surface Warfare Enterprise (SWE) requirements development and resourcing process.
- Knowledge of the POM process.
- Commanding Officer (CO) experience.
- Knowledge of the Surface Force Training and Readiness Manual (SFTRM) and Fleet Training Requirements Management Process.
- Familiarity with USFF Live Virtual Constructive Initiatives and shipboard synthetic training systems.
