About the Role
As a 1st Maintenance Technician I, you will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems with plant equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and conduct building maintenance and repairs. You will also report food safety and quality issues, comply with food safety requirements, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- 2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 3+ years in maintenance mechanic role.
- Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics.
- Working knowledge of CMMS and lockout/tagout programs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of boiler operations.
- Experience with ammonia, freon, or other cooling media.
- Ability to stick or tig weld small repairs.
- Intermediate computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office.
