About the Role
As a Mobile Crisis Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting crisis interventions and assessments, understanding presenting crises, assessing safety risks, performing mental status evaluations, and establishing crisis plans. You will work closely with law enforcement, hospital personnel, and detention centers to ensure individuals receive appropriate care and referrals.
About You
Required:
- Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in accordance with state standards.
- Working knowledge of mental health symptoms and crisis situations.
Preferred:
- Experience in crisis counseling and de-escalation techniques.
- Knowledge of community resources available to clients.
