About the Role
As an Operations Intern/Co-op at Dow, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities across different work settings, including chemical plant safety, environmental performance, process operation, optimization, and technology implementation. You will work as part of a team to address real-world challenges and contribute to safe and efficient plant operations. The internship can be a single work term or part of a three-term alternating co-op program, with opportunities available in Louisiana, Michigan, and Texas.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Material Science/Metallurgical Engineering.
- Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Commitment to relocate anywhere in the U.S. outside of specified preferences.
- Rising College Sophomores and Juniors.
- A preferred GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) at your current university.
- Enrolled in an ABET accredited program.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding work ethic and leadership potential.
- Active participation and leadership in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations.
- Previous internship/co-op experience is a plus.
