Summary
San Mateo-Foster City School District is seeking an Assistant Superintendent of Student Services for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves providing leadership in all aspects of the District’s student support programs.
About the Role
As the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, you will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the District’s student support services program. You will support principals and staff in providing student support services, oversee various programs including school safety, enrollment management, Special Education, wellness and mental health services, and student discipline. You will also communicate with staff and the community regarding student achievement and maintain a positive climate within the district.
About You
Required:
- California Administrative Credential
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience including site administrator and/or district office
- Teaching experience preferably in grades TK-8
- Expertise in K-8 student support services
Preferred:
- Experience in special education highly desirable
