About the Role

As a co-op in the Future Talent Program, you will work on projects that enhance genomic data processing workflows and project management within the Data, AI, and Genome Sciences department. Your responsibilities will include developing automated pipelines for data ingestion and quality control, designing interactive dashboards for real-time project insights, and collaborating with scientific teams to automate tracking of key milestones.

About You

Required:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Python programming.
Available to work full-time for 6 months in 2026.

Preferred:

Experience with data visualization libraries and dashboard frameworks (e.g., Plotly, Streamlit, Shiny for Python, or Dash).
Familiarity with Linux bash commands and scripts.
Knowledge of genomic data formats and bioinformatics workflows.
Experience with AWS and AWS CLI.
Familiarity with automation tools and workflow management systems (e.g., Snakemake, Nextflow).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
