EisnerAmper is seeking a 2027 Assurance Winter Intern - Affordable Housing to join their team in Columbus, OH. The role involves working on various aspects of financial statement audits and developing a working knowledge of the firm's practices in Assurance.
About the Role
As an Assurance intern, you will have the opportunity to work directly with seasoned professionals on client engagements, gaining real-world experience in public accounting. You will learn about systems and business processes while developing technical skills under close coaching and supervision. This full-time internship will start in early January 2027 and requires availability for 40+ hours per week during business hours.
About You
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in accounting or equivalent program from an accredited college or university.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Preferred:
- Pursuing minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state of your assigned office location.
- Pursuing 150 academic credits or a master's degree in accounting or equivalent program.
- Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0).
- Strong MS Excel and MS Word skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
