About the Role
As a Lead Manufacturing Engineering Specialist, you will learn the processes, hardware, specifications, and quality requirements of T700 engine assembly. You will have hardware ownership and be involved in a transformation process that incorporates lean principles. Your responsibilities will include improving safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity metrics, while also providing informal guidance to new team members.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma with at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- A minimum of 3 additional years of experience in manufacturing/production.
Preferred:
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
- Experience in an engine assembly or repair and overhaul environment.
- Experience with CT7 / T700 engines.
- Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) graduate or a similar program.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Technical troubleshooting skills.
