Johnson Controls is seeking a 2nd shift Assembler to join their team in Lubbock, TX. The role involves performing various operations in the manufacturing process to assemble comfort units to specifications.
About the Role
As a 2nd shift Assembler, you will be responsible for following safety guidelines, working from blueprints and verbal instructions, mounting and aligning parts, communicating effectively with team members, visually inspecting products for quality, packaging units, and maintaining a clean workplace. You will work Monday to Thursday from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, with possible overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.
About You
Required:
- Read and write English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read tape measure
- Good problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Prior carpentry/construction experience
