About the Role
As a 2nd Shift Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for assisting individuals in developing independent living skills, providing personal care support, supervising residents, and maintaining documentation. You will also be involved in training residents in money management, mobility, and community orientation, while ensuring adherence to agency policies and procedures.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid NY State driver's license acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform required certifications.
Preferred:
- Experience working with the OPWDD population.
- Knowledge of or experience working with developmentally disabled individuals.
