About the Role
As a Faculty Instructor, you will develop and deliver graduate-level instruction in core curriculum areas such as national security strategy and strategic leadership. You will serve as a faculty advisor, facilitate seminars, contribute to course design, and conduct scholarly research. The position requires assessing student performance and providing detailed feedback across various academic activities.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in Strategic Leadership, National Security Policy, Military History, or related field.
- At least 3 years of faculty experience at a Senior Service College or accredited graduate institution within the past 5 years.
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) and familiarity with adult learning principles.
Preferred:
- JPME II certification.
- In-depth knowledge of Civil War history, especially the Gettysburg campaign.
- A PhD or multiple degrees in relevant areas, as well as teaching awards or previous academic promotions.
