About the Role
About You
- Graduate of a program in cardiac echocardiography approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or equivalent education/experience.
- Completed equivalent training through self-study or on-the-job training.
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Upon hire: Successful completion of national certification examinations in cardiac echocardiography, color doppler, and stress testing conducted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- Experience as a hospital-based Sonographer.
