About the Role
As a 3rd Shift General Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing food processing and packaging equipment, ensuring operational efficiency. You will work with industrial electricity systems, read blueprints and schematics, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The position requires flexibility for shift assignments and effective communication with team members to support continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency with a vocational or technical focus.
- Outstanding mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot high-speed food processing/packaging equipment.
- Thorough working knowledge of industrial electricity, including operation and control of 120v through 480v systems.
Preferred:
- Prior industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Computer skills including Windows-based systems and SAP.
