About the Role
As a 820 Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for reconciling client stay days, verifying health insurance accuracy, accessing payer portals, confirming diagnosis and procedure coding, tracking payments or denials, and collaborating with co-workers to resolve issues. You will also be required to communicate with insurance companies regarding payment denials and post payments in the AWARDS database.
About You
Required:
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
