Advanced Behavioral Therapy is seeking an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician to join their team in Butler, NJ. The role involves providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children on the autism spectrum.
About the Role
As an ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician, you will work with children in various settings including homes and schools. Your responsibilities will include implementing therapy plans, tracking progress, and collaborating with other professionals to support the development of children with autism. You will have the opportunity to work flexible hours and receive training to enhance your skills in the field.
About You
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
At least 18 years old.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a background check.
Experience working with children.
Preferred:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
