Optimum Media is seeking an Account Executive - Political to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves driving revenue outcomes and providing customized solutions for political, issue advocacy, and public affairs campaigns.
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will leverage agency contacts to build a pipeline of sales targets, develop proposals, and manage client relationships. You will be responsible for exceeding sales goals, accurately forecasting account activities, and utilizing CRM tools to track opportunities. The position requires a hunter mindset to identify new business opportunities and a commitment to client success through Optimum Media's offerings.
About You
Required:
6-8 years of experience in the digital media space with at least 3 years of specific sales experience with political, public affairs, and issue advocacy agencies and clients.
Outstanding in-person presentation skills and written communication abilities.
Proven track record of driving revenue through prospecting, pitching, and closing business.
Preferred:
Experience with attribution modeling, third-party tracking, and programmatic ads.
Familiarity with connected video, streaming CTV, and sports advertising.
Prior work experience in media sales or on a political campaign.
