About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for exceeding quarterly and annual quotas by generating new net revenue across a defined enterprise territory. You will develop new business sales opportunities, execute a complex solution-based sales process, and manage a large volume of early-stage accounts while advancing high-value opportunities. Your role will involve articulating Smartsheet's value to validate proposed solutions and advance deals.
About You
Required:
- 3 - 5+ years software sales experience (SaaS preferred) with a track record of consistently exceeding quota.
- Enterprise sales success; experience exceeding quotas and receiving recognition and awards.
- Proven new business selling skills.
- Experience managing a large and diverse pipeline of sales opportunities.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, presentation) and executive presence.
Preferred:
- Experience accomplishing a complex, solution-based strategic sales process.
- Outstanding time management; comfortable managing numerous requests and priorities.
- Collaborative teammate with strong work ethic; creative problem solver who adapts to change.
- Tools: Salesforce (required); familiarity with Clari, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, Tableau preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
