CardinalOps is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves driving revenue growth and managing the full sales cycle in the cybersecurity space.
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and growing a regional sales territory, leading the sales cycle from pipeline generation to close, and negotiating business with new and existing customers. You will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and R&D to deliver value and solve challenges in cybersecurity. This hands-on role requires building relationships and navigating complex sales cycles in a fast-paced environment.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 6 years selling SaaS solutions in the security space to enterprise customers.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in high-growth environments.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity buyer, especially in Exposure Management (CTEM), SIEM, XDR, Posture Management (xSPM) or threat intelligence.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in executing a formal sales process and familiarity with qualification frameworks and sales management tools.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changes.
Preferred:
- Strong storyteller who can tailor value narratives to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed in the US and abroad.
