Summary
Energy Systems Group (ESG) is seeking an Account Executive to join their Public Sector Central Region team based in Kentucky. The role focuses on generating new business through consultative sales with utility and public sector clients, requiring frequent travel.
About the Role
The Account Executive will prospect for new business, develop knowledge of the renewable energy industry, cultivate business relationships, communicate solutions to meet customer goals, prepare and present proposals including financials, maintain customer contact during installations, and monitor account progress including market and competitive activity.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Five or more years' industry experience selling large solutions or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Highly effective sales negotiation and closing techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to compose proposals, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
