Summary
PPG is seeking an Account Manager (Remote) to join their Industrial Coatings sales team. The role focuses on strengthening long-term customer relationships and driving sustainable growth within an established account base.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will maintain and grow existing customer accounts, develop strategic account plans, drive revenue and profitability, coordinate resources to support customer needs, assess customer requirements, and lead negotiations for commercial agreements. You will also communicate with the Sales Manager regarding account health and growth opportunities.
About You
Required:
- BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial products or other technical markets.
- Experience with the industrial coatings industry, technologies, and market dynamics.
- Experience building and maintaining long-term, trust-based customer relationships.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% to visit customers and attend meetings in the US (Canada/Mexico as needed).
