The Hartford is seeking an Account Manager for their Hartford Excess Solutions team, with a hybrid work schedule based in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves supporting commercial underwriting in the sales acquisition process and serving as a point of contact for agents.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will support the Underwriter in the sales acquisition process, manage high volumes of transactions, and ensure effective communication with customers and agents. Your responsibilities will include account coordination, preparing work orders for policy issuance, and maintaining an effective follow-up system.
About You
Required:
Prior Commercial Market Insurance Industry experience as an Account Manager, Technical Rater or equivalent at an insurance carrier/agency.
Knowledge of Commercial insurance coverages: GL, WC, auto, property, etc.
Strong Customer Service and Relationship Building skills.
Effective Communication Skills / Written and Verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Software.
Preferred:
Functional knowledge of Commercial Lines rating experience.
Legacy Navigators/Global Specialty/Policy Center systems experience.
Good automation skills and strong technical ability.
