Summary
Metric Geo is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in Northern Indiana. The role involves managing and growing businesses across the territory by selling a full portfolio of industrial solutions.
About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with manufacturing and large industrial customers. Your daily tasks will include selling service work, parts, equipment, and preventative maintenance agreements, identifying customer needs, developing new opportunities, coordinating with internal teams, and acting as the primary point of contact for customer communication.
About You
Required:
- Experience in outside sales or account management within an industrial or technical setting.
- Proven ability to sell service-based solutions in addition to physical products.
- Mechanical or technical aptitude; experience with industrial equipment preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage maintenance teams, engineers, and plant leadership.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and standard business software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the Northern Indiana territory.
