Summary
Metallus Inc. is seeking an Account Manager II / III to manage business relationships for accounts in the Detroit Metropolitan Area. The role involves developing and executing commercial and technical strategies to increase market share and profitability.
About the Role
As an Account Manager II / III, you will be responsible for managing overall business relationships for accounts with sales greater than $35M, including at least one key strategic account over $10M annually. Your responsibilities will include preparing and executing commercial agreements, developing strategic account plans, fostering customer relationships, identifying new accounts, and leveraging customer relationship management tools. You will also monitor accounts receivable issues and travel up to 50% as needed.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, or related with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a sales or commercial environment with $35M in sales and with at least one key strategic account over $10M annually.
- Master's degree in engineering, sales, or related with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or commercial environment with $35M in sales and with at least one key strategic account over $10M annually.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, sales, or related with a minimum of 12 years of experience in a sales or commercial environment with $35M in sales and with at least one key strategic account over $10M annually.
- Master's degree in engineering, sales, or related with a minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales or commercial environment with $35M in sales and with at least one key strategic account over $10M annually.
