Your Part-Time Controller, LLC is seeking an Accountant to join their team in Cherry Hill, NJ. The role involves providing outsourced accounting services to nonprofit organizations in a hybrid work environment.
About the Role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll on a weekly and monthly basis. You will conduct bank account and balance sheet reconciliations, prepare monthly financials and related analysis, track grants, monitor cash flow projections, and prepare for outside audits. This position offers promotion potential to a Controller-level position and requires interaction with clients and their staff regularly.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in public accounting and/or industry.
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
- Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required.
