Jobot is seeking a Permanent Accountant to join their team in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves managing all financial transactions and maintaining the financial health of the company.
About the Role
As an Accountant, you will oversee general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. You will coordinate with external auditors, utilize accounting software and ERP systems, prepare financial statements, assist in developing internal financial controls, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and participate in strategic planning and budget development.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge and experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
