As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate records, assisting with budget preparation, analyzing financial data, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing support during audits.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Expertise in Financial Reporting, Data Analysis, and Budgeting.
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Governmental Accounting Standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across departments.
Preferred:
- CPA certification or experience in municipal government accounting.
