CM Biomass is seeking an Accounting and Finance Manager for their North America operations, based in Houston, TX. The role involves ownership of core accounting, compliance activities, and operational partnership across U.S. entities.
About the Role
As the Accounting and Finance Manager, you will be responsible for executing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in accordance with IFRS, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring accurate inventory and cost accounting, leading inventory audits, and acting as the primary contact for external auditors. You will also coordinate tax filings, support banking activities, maintain corporate governance, and identify improvements in accounting processes.
About You
Required:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar.
- 4–6 years of experience in public accounting and/or manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of IFRS, inventory accounting, and internal controls.
- Experience coordinating with external auditors, tax preparers, and banks.
- Detail-oriented and able to operate independently.
Preferred:
- ERP and BI experience, particularly with D365 Finance.
