About the Role
As the Accounting and Operations Manager - Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing accounts payable/receivable, cash management, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will also automate workflows, collaborate with sales and development teams, and maintain audit-ready financial records.
About You
Required:
- 5-8 years of experience in Accounting / Audit.
- Deep proficiency in modern cloud accounting tools and data reconciliation in Excel / GSheets.
- Experience or strong interest in the insurance industry.
- Ability to take responsibility and get things done in a fast-moving startup.
- A track record of automating repetitive processes using systems and tools.
Preferred:
- Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm or similar.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and charts of accounts.
