Burlington County NJ is seeking an Accounting Clerk - Correctional to join their team in Mount Holly, NJ. The role involves performing a variety of clerical duties related to accounting and financial record maintenance.
About the Role
As an Accounting Clerk - Correctional, you will be responsible for computing, classifying, verifying, and recording numerical data, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records. You may also supervise a small group of employees in the maintenance of accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
About You
Required:
A Bachelor's degree is preferred or two (2) years of experience in financial record preparation, maintenance, and/or review.
Valid driver's license in New Jersey if vehicle operation is necessary for the job.
Preferred:
Knowledge of accounting clerical procedures and techniques.
Ability to analyze accounting problems and develop effective work methods.
