Summary
Ashley Sling, a division of American Equipment Holdings, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves leading accounting and financial operational support to drive organizational growth and improve operational effectiveness.
About the Role
As an Accounting Manager, you will manage the close process of all financial data, complete month-end close procedures, support the annual audit and budgeting process, generate financial reports, prepare and file sales tax reports, track capital expenditures, and oversee all accounting functions including cash management and accounts receivable. You will also identify financial gaps and opportunities and provide support to the Eastern Region Controller and Chief Financial Officer.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- 6+ years experience in an accounting position.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in manufacturing operations and managing multiple reporting locations.
- CPA Preferred.
