Summary

HUB International is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Specialty Program Group in a hybrid environment. The role involves providing accounting oversight and leadership for multiple entities within the specialty insurance space.

About the Role

As an Accounting Manager, you will manage and oversee accounting operations for several established entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing month-end close processes, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and managing a team of accounting professionals. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for accounting-related inquiries and support special projects as needed.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience with demonstrated management and oversight responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and entities simultaneously.
Strong ownership mentality with ability to work independently.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

Insurance industry experience.
CPA certification.
Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
Experience managing accounting for multiple entities or business units.
