Summary

About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the Accounts Payable staff, monitoring the AP inbox, reviewing invoices and Requests for Payment (RFPs), assisting with invoice processing, supporting the transition to automated payment processing, and ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. You will also lead the preparation of 1099 forms and respond to vendor inquiries.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Minimum 4 years of accounts payable experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in nonprofit organizations with federal, state, and city grant funding.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel proficiency.
Preferred:
- Experience with Intacct.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
