Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Customer Service Specialist for a full-time position on the 1st shift in Milwaukee, WI. The role involves billing and follow-up of patient and client accounts, ensuring compliance with various insurance guidelines.
About the Role
As an Accounts Receivable/Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately interpreting remittance advices, reviewing insurance payments, inputting patient and claim information into billing systems, and following up on claims. You will also handle incoming inquiries from patients and clients, process payments, and participate in training as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma.
- A minimum of one year insurance billing experience.
Preferred:
- Four years insurance billing experience.
- Working knowledge of medical billing practices such as contractual adjustments and cash posting.
- Ability to independently resolve problems successfully on the phone with clients, patients, and internal departments.
- Working knowledge of Epic.
