Summary

Superior Essex Communications is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their Credit and Collections team in Atlanta, GA. The role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Company’s accounts receivable ledger, including cash application, reconciliations, and reporting.

About the Role

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be responsible for applying customer payments accurately and timely, processing manual invoices and adjustments, supporting month-end closing activities, maintaining customer tax exemption certificates, researching payment discrepancies, monitoring AR aging, and providing backup support for other AR functions. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of the accounts receivable ledger and assist with various special projects as assigned.

About You

Required:

Strong cash application experience.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
Experience working with ERP systems.
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic reporting).
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3-6 years of accounts receivable, cash application, or AR Analyst experience.
Manufacturing industry experience.
