About the Role
As an ACCS Deaf and Hard of Hearing Outreach Counselor, you will act as a liaison between individuals served, community agencies, and families to coordinate treatment. Your responsibilities will include delivering interventions, implementing community engagement activities, providing support and coaching, and assisting individuals in finding employment or entitlements. You will also participate in an on-call rotation.
About You
Required:
- Fluency in American Sign Language.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
Preferred:
- Experience working with individuals with mental illness or substance use disorders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
