About the Role
As an Accts. Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for importing and reconciling lockbox receipts, creating chargebacks for customer deductions, completing month-end close and reports, processing payments, researching and applying wires and ACH payments, working with state tax auditors, resolving rebates and chargebacks, making light collection calls, and ensuring compliance with customer contracts and company products.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma with some college courses in Business with a focus on Accounting.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of account receivable experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with collection operational procedures including reconciliation of detailed A/R activity.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred:
- High Value placed on JD Edwards experience.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to resolve customer issues quickly.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
