Summary
COLSA is seeking a Senior Acquisition Manager to join their team in Dayton, OH. The role involves assisting with DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods to improve acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
About the Role
As a Senior Acquisition Manager, you will support key acquisition events and reviews, assist in establishing and maintaining databases, track technical metrics, and provide support for program cost, schedule, and performance. You will also assist in the development of acquisition documentation, perform analyses to support program strategy decisions, and interface with various USG organizations to resolve programmatic issues.
About You
Required:
- MA/MS degree with twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD.
- BA/BS degree with fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD.
- HS Diploma with twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) years of which must be in the DoD.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
- Advanced knowledge of the technical/professional discipline and ability to apply associated standards, procedures, and practices.
Preferred:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
- Experience in developing and implementing capability-based planning processes.
