Summary
Astrion is seeking an Acquisition Strategy and Documentation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their team at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role involves supporting the Base Information Transport Infrastructure (BITI) program within the C3I and Infrastructure Division.
About the Role
As an Acquisition Strategy and Documentation SME, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive knowledge of systems acquisition and program management principles. Your tasks will include identifying acquisition strategy issues, collaborating with multi-MAJCOM stakeholders, formulating acquisition strategies, and supporting the development of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents. You will also assist in program management reviews and develop various briefings and schedules for senior management.
About You
Required:
- BA/BS degree and 15 years of program management experience, with 5 years in USAF acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience in initiating and managing high visibility programs.
- Active US security clearance.
Preferred:
- Experience in systems acquisition and program management as defined in DoDI 5000.2.
- Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision and communicate effectively in writing.
