About the Role
As an Acting for the Camera Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for providing quality teaching, preparing class syllabi, identifying individual learning needs of students, and communicating effectively with students and faculty. You will teach evening, distance, and in-person classes across multiple campuses and perform other related duties as assigned.
About You
Required:
- An MA (MFA preferred) in Acting/Directing or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in film acting and scene study or related courses at the college level.
- A working knowledge of video equipment (camera, boom, monitor, etc.) as used in the class environment.
- Recent experience as an actor or director in feature films and/or episodic content or web series.
Preferred:
- Strong background in the Stanislavski System and Meisner technique.
- Directing experience and strong ties to the profession.
- College teaching experience.
- Experience using Canvas LMS.
