Summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to join their team in Shrewsbury, MA. The role involves organizing and implementing programs to meet the individual needs of residents, promoting their psychological, intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

About the Role

As an Activities Assistant, you will assist in developing and implementing a seven-day-a-week activity program, lead various activities, support residents in their independent pursuits, and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the Activity Director. You will work in a nurturing environment, ensuring that all aspects of care are viewed as activities.

About You

Required:

High school diploma, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in aging and disability issues.
Training and knowledge in recreational activities.
Training and knowledge of Alzheimer's and related dementias.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding residents and staff.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
