Oakmont Senior Living is seeking an Activity Assistant to join their team in Agoura Hills, CA. The role involves assisting with organizing, scheduling, promoting, facilitating, and directing activities and excursions for residents to enhance their independence and quality of life.
About the Role
As an Activity Assistant, you will work closely with the Activity Director to create a vibrant social atmosphere within the community. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing high-quality activities, managing community volunteers, ensuring effective communication with residents and staff, maintaining a safe environment, and encouraging teamwork among departments.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Requires current Class C license, prefer Class B or Class C with Passenger Endorsement.
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
Preferred:
- One (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
