TalentAlly is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join their team, focusing on pricing, indications, and forecasting for P&C insurance. The role involves applying actuarial methods for accurate pricing and process improvement.
About the Role
As an Actuarial Analyst, you will independently apply actuarial methodologies to complete structured projects, build tools for new methodologies, improve existing processes, mentor colleagues, and provide strategic insights while managing business risks in compliance with internal policies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of related actuarial/business/analytical experience.
- 2 years of actuarial or analytical business experience.
- 3 Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) exams.
- Experience with relevant actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques.
- Intermediate knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, SAS.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Excel and at least one programming language or modeling software package.
- Demonstrated experience with basic actuarial pricing methodologies.
- P&C Personal Lines pricing experience.
- Familiarity with industry pricing software such as Earnix.
- US military experience through military service or as a military spouse/domestic partner.
