About the Role
As an Acute Care NP/PA in the ICU, you will be responsible for assessing and managing adult complex surgical patients and acutely ill medical patients. Your duties will include performing critical care interventions, intensive care monitoring, diagnosing and prescribing treatments, coordinating referrals, and discharging patients from the ICU. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team and play a key role in patient and family education while promoting high-quality nursing care.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse (RN) State License.
- 2 or more years of full-time critical care RN experience plus graduation from an Acute Care NP program.
Preferred:
- 1-3 years of full-time ICU APP experience.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification in Massachusetts.
- Experience as a nurse practitioner (0-1 year preferred).
