About the Role
As an Assistant District Attorney in the Youth Justice Bureau, you will maintain a caseload of serious felony offenses, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, present cases to the Grand Jury, and engage with community organizations to support youth development. You will also handle a high volume of cases, ensure compliance with legal obligations, and represent the office at community events.
About You
Required:
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant legal experience.
U.S. Citizenship and New York State Residency required.
Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
Preferred:
Demonstrated commitment to youth justice and trauma-informed prosecution.
Familiarity with the juvenile justice system, including the Raise the Age statute.
Grand Jury experience.
Significant experience in hearing and trial proceedings.
