About the Role
As an Addictions Counselor, you will conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions, assess and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions, and collaborate with facility staff to support patient care. You will also maintain clinical documentation and monitor patient progress while enjoying a flexible work schedule without administrative burdens.
About You
Required:
- Active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of application.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Basic proficiency with technology, including electronic health records (EHR).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to regulatory compliance.
Preferred:
- Certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
- Previous clinical experience in a subacute, long-term care, or geriatric healthcare setting.
- History of treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
